Intro

Are you an engineer with at least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a high-tech or precision engineering environment? We would like to get in touch with you!

Our customers develop, manufacture, assemble, and test complex (opto) mechatronic systems and mechanical modules for leading high-tech machine builders (OEMs). These activities span both prototyping and series production. You, as a Manufacturing Engineer at Nobleo Manufacturing, have a pivotal part to play in making sure that manufacturing processes are robust, efficient and scalable.

Role and responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in establishing, improving, and optimizing both production and business processes, sometimes being engaged directly from the development phase onwards. You will analyse product designs for manufacturability and work closely with design engineers to improve production efficiency (DFM). In this role, you will support the transition from prototype to series production, ensuring process stability and repeatability.

You will define and document work instructions, process flows, and control plans, while you also identify and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Furthermore, you will lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cost efficiency, and throughput optimization.

Collaboration is central in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including those from R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production. Additionally, you will be responsible for safeguarding compliance with relevant quality standards, as well as actively supporting audits and validations.

What do we expect from you?

  • A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a high-tech or precision engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, including tooling, fixtures, and automation.
  • Experience with quality assurance methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with DFM(A), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
  • You are quality-conscious and enjoy contributing to improvement processes, both internally and with customers.
