Intro

Are you an Industrial engineer & Data Scientist keen to use your knowledge of data driven insights to improve the productions processes in automotive and high-tech industries? We would like to get in touch with you!

At Nobleo Manufacturing, we believe there are always opportunities to produce faster, better, and more cost-effectively. As an Industrial engineer & Data Scientist your role involves acquiring comprehensive knowledge of products and manufacturing processes at the customers’ sites, understanding the functionality, feasibility, risks, and applications of the product and processes involved. You will combine your engineering mindset with data-driven insights to improve these production processes in the automotive and high-tech industries.

Role and responsibilities

As an Industrial Engineer & Data Scientist, you will be actively involved in setting up, improving, and optimizing production and business processes, sometimes being engaged directly from the development phase onward. With a strong data-driven approach and the use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, you initiate improvements, eliminate waste, and propose solutions that drive measurable results.

In this role you will develop and validate models and algorithms to simulate and optimize manufacturing processes, while defining and visualizing KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders using tools like Python, Excel, and Power BI. The improvements you introduce are quantifiable and contribute to the customers’ business objectives. When implementing process improvements, you consider essential preconditions such as safety, quality delivery reliability, and costs. In co-operation with stakeholders, you will (re)design processes necessary for the correct execution of the production process. Ultimately, your work contributes to achieving optimal production output, with a strong focus on increasing efficiency, ensuring quality, and reducing cost. You will take lead in improvement initiatives, ensuring that solutions are based on real production data.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have a (technical) master’s degree, preferably a strong affinity with manufacturing, engineering and data.
  • 1-5 Years of experience in a relevant technical environment (high-tech, automotive).
  • You have strong analytical skills and a structured, precise working style.
  • Besides being precise, you are also a result- and customer-oriented team player with strong communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in data analysis tools like Python, Excel and/or Power BI.
  • Affinity with programming and process simulation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • You are quality-conscious and enjoy contributing to improvement processes, both internally and externally.
